Millard Elementary Packs Meals to Support Fremont Students

On 11/7/24, Millard Elementary Mustangs joined hands packing 16,000 meals in under 3 hours. 2,600 meals were delivered to the newly opened school-site McKinney Vento unhoused Students Closet at Grimmer Elementary. FUSD Student Services Melissa Espinoza delivered another 2,600 meals to MKV Students Closet at Cabrillo Elementary. We are so proud of our community! Thank you to all the Mustangs, Millard School staff, and volunteers for making this possible!

Bridges IMPACT DAY: Fremont Community Joins Hands Packing 30,000 Meals to Support Families in Need

On 9/15/24 Bridges Community Church IMPACT DAY, over 250 volunteers from Fremont community joined hands packing over 30,000 meals in under 2 hours to support families in need. Special thanks to Fremont City Mayor Lily Mei, city Councilmembers Raj Salwan, Yang Shao, and Kathy Kimberlin for coming to support the event. Shout out to Young Men Service League and to Mission San Jose High Kids Against Hunger Club for serving as core volunteers today!
