We are humbled and honored to receive from Supervisor Haubert this Commendation from the Board of Supervisors, Alameda County. This commendation belongs to all our tireless volunteers, nearly 10,000 Fremont students that participated to pack meals, and the generous donors that contributed to help further our cause. On 2/4/23, over 350 volunteers and students from 18 different schools united joining hands to serve those in need. We packed 51,392 meals in under 3 hours for Fremont and Ukraine. Special thanks to BASIS Independent Fremont for fundraising and hosting our annual community meal packing event! Thank you Alemeda County Supervisor Haubert and Fremont Mayor Mei for coming to support the event. BASIS Coach Andy shaved his head in front of the school celebrating exceeding the $10k/40k meal count goal.  The packed meals leave for Ukrain on 2/8.
